KeymasterGood Afternoon.
Monday April 5.
Volunteers are still needed to demonstrate fly casting, fly tying, bring fly fishing gear to swap, and show how to get into fly fishing for new kids and adults at our Saturday April 17 family & friends fly fishing fun day at the Barn. Please read my last update, flier and planning form and contact me or Don as soon as possible. All are on the website and were sent last weekend.
We must have 4-5 or more volunteers to lead and help with at least the above activities by 4/5 for this day’s planning to continue in this form.
This year’s award of a scholarship to a student in the CSI Aquaculture program will be held at Noon this Saturday with the CSI folks.
Please invite your friends and family. Let’s make this a fun new spring MVFF event.Wednesday April 28 & Thursday April 29
Members to fly catch trout on Billingsley Creek Jones Beat for tagging with IDFG. Reply or call me to volunteer for this in-stream “work” and to receive more instructions. Be sure to bring a good net large enough to keep the fish safe in the water for the Department taggers to tag them easily.Tuesday May 25
Members to help do in-stream planting of eggs in rearing boxes in upper Little Wood River with the IDFG team. RSVP to me as soon as you know you will do this work with the Department and to receive further instructions on meeting location, times and preparation.Bryan Woodhouse-MVFF President & Secretary-2021 208-934-6405
