When and Where?
Saturday, November 16th at 9:00 AM.
Meet at the City of Twin Fall Parks and Rec. Office. 136 Maxwell Avenue.
What are we doing?
Cutting limbs, dragging brush, and picking up trash along Rock Creek.
What should you bring?
Dress for being outside. Bring work gloves, pole saws and hand saws. You do NOT need a chainsaw.
Bring waders and a rod if you want to enjoy your new casting space after the work is done. There are trout to be caught.
Why are we doing this?
The Magic Valley Fly Fishers (MVFF) works to preserve, protect and pro-mote fly fishing and enhance our local fisheries. We’re working with the city of Twin Falls to restore Rock Creek and improve the fishing access.
- MVFF will work on removing brush next to the water to improve fish-ing access, building on the city’s previous efforts.
- There are several restoration and water quality improvement projects being planned for Rock Creek. Our efforts to improve access for fish-ing, will compliment several other projects aimed at habitat improve-ment.
