Welcome to Magic Valley Fly Fishers Events.

EVENTS NOW THROUGH NOVEMBER FALL PARTY, 2025.

THE PUBLIC IS ALWAYS WELCOME

A MINIMUM OF TEN (10) REGISTRATIONS FOR PEOPLE CONFIRMING THAT THEY WILL EAT AT EACH BARN EVENT ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE MOUNTAIN VIEW BARN'S CAFE OPEN AND FOOD AVAILABLE FOR ATTENDEES TO PURCHASE. THESE RESERVATIONS ARE NEEDED FOR EACH EVENT AND MUST BE DONE 3 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR TO THAT EVENT FOR OUR HOSTS TO HAVE FOOD AND STAFF AVAILABLE. THE BAR AND OTHER DRINKS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL MEETINGS AT THE BARN. GUESTS AND FAMILY QUALIFY SO PLEASE ADD THEM INTO YOUR NUMBER OF GUESTS SO WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE CAFE OPEN!!!  THIS ALSO APPLIES TO FISHOUTS FOR MEMBERS SO WE KNOW HOW TO PLAN. PLEASE CALL 208-954-6405 WITH QUESTIONS. 

Locations of fishouts, program presentations and other details for each event will be added as information becomes available. Other special event details will be posted as far ahead as is possible by the month in which they will be held. More information will also be available on this evolving website under Club News and on our FB page.

    MVFF TUESDAY OCTOBER 14 GENERAL MEETING

    In the short time I've known Mark Sindell, his discussions on the fish catching flies he ties for Silver and Big Wood have stoked my desire to hear and learn more from him as soon as possible.

    Oct. 14, 5-8 pm is the time at the Barn.

    This will be another evening not to miss as we hear and learn new tips, tactics, flies and foolin' fish on the Big Wood, Silver Creek and possibly some other close by fine fishing spots from a fly fanatic's experiences living in Belview and fishing here extensively.  His official office is in Boise, but he chooses to live on the waters he loves best.  He also travels and works in all adjoining states and beyond, allowing his fly fishing adventures to abound!!

    Planning is underway with more details on the menu, cost and activities to follow soon.

    Raffles and Silent Auctions will need all your help to have lots of donations fitting for fine fall fundraising & fly fishing fun!!  Dig out all your great old gear gathering grit and call us to pick it up or drop it off to replenish our dwindling supply of great raffle goodies. Please also help us get out and contact old and new donors as we've done before our banquets over many years.  We need you help, thankyou! More on this as an ongoing priority project for future fundraisers to follow soon also.
