A Magic Valley Fly Fishers Fish Fry Fundraiser & Membership Drive with the Twin Falls County Fair Foundation at their Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser Friday 5 to 9, June 5!!!  Please Google their website, Events, Non Fair Events, June 5 to see and download their full flier for your reading enjoyment.  It's great with all the info on food, pricing, entertainment (in addition to MVFF! Snicker-Snicker) with no admission or parking charge and all their other details. 

  Our club will be demonstrating & showing fly casting, fly tying, knot tying, having our 50/50 raffle and other fun and interesting activities to encourage family fly fishing fun for future folks to join our club.

  Our format will be similar to our  April 21 Event at the Mountain View Barn that was well attended and all had fun.  Casting will be close outside with tying inside or at tables outside depending on the weather specifics.  Details on our 4/21 meeting can be read for that date on this site's Events, Past Events.   Many of our folks that worked with all and showed their skills that evening will be with us June 5. We hope all of our  members will come and help to encourage fly fishing in this larger joint community event and help us build our membership ranks back to old levels.  Those higher member levels are where we can do many more fisheries and habitat restoration projects and access improvements as well as fun fly fishing outings that provide  as many fly fishing and outdoor opportunities as possible to all.

  June, July & August we will not have regular meetings at the Barn.  Anything that arises of interest to all will be posted here as an Event or in our News section, so watch both and watch your emails too. 

  The Clear Lake Country Club Lake is an example of what to watch for in the near future.   We are restarting our work with them  on their trophy fishing pond and earning our free fishing days to be defined soon after the next cleanup is done.  Next week we will be meeting with them for more final planning.  This will be getting us down there cleaning up the u-boat & pontoon launch area, shore fishing access trails, and getting us fishing there again soon! Watch Events and News sections.

  Work projects on Rock Creek, Little or Big Wood, Billingsley, and impromptu fishing trips are all other examples of what may take our fly during the summer!!
