Magic Valley Fly Fishers Update on our Fish-Out Next Sat. Oct. 16, 2021 Oct. 9, 2021
Happy soggy Saturday to you all. It’s great to have it raining!!
It’s forecast to be a mostly sunny 61 degrees with light winds next Saturday for our fall fishing.
Google Clear Lakes Country Club http://www.clearlakecc.org 208-543-4849-for a map and photos on the lake and fishing. Our free fishing day will get us back on the water together. Just go down to the pro shop to sign-in Saturday whenever you can get there. The pro shop and restaurant are open 8 to 6 and the food is great all day. Please fill out the form for you and your guests with cell phone and e-mail addresses for our records. Then just go fish, catch and release lots on flies only, and have a great day on the water with us all. Be nice to them and keep them in the water for pictures and a friendly release. Take lots of pictures of bent rods and each other fishing, as well as fish, and send them to me on this e-mail to put up on the website. We encourage families and friends to come to this and each of our outings this fall to build new active member participation even when we can’t hold regular inside meetings.
Come on down to this free fall fishing event even if you haven’t paid your dues for 2021. We encourage you all to now again mail your check for $35 to Magic Valley Fly Fishers, P.O. Box 1037 Twin Falls Id. 83303 or pay on-line at https://www.magicvalleyflyfishers.com All dues paid now will be good for all of 2022 and the rest of 2021. The Christmas Party, if we can have it in December, will require a paid membership and RSVP for meal planning. More on that and other club stuff soon including needing officers, board members and a few team leaders.
Flies may be flung behind a bubble on any outfit for those just getting into the game. Shore fishing access and put-ins for our u-boats, pontoons, canoes, prams, etc., with no gas motors are good and getting better. NO Idaho fishing license is required at this private water, so bring your family, friends and out-of-staters wanting to catch and release some nice rainbows to 20” on 18-14 dark midge emergers. Long light leaders work best on these folks sipping in the film or just below. Lots of other small patterns are working well too.
Come early if you can and stay late if you will. Sunrise is 7:52 and Sunset is 6:53-T.F.I.
I hope to see you all there.
Call/text me at 208-934-6405 for quickest response or use this e-mail with any questions.

Great Outing. Day was clear with mild winds. Morning fishing was a challenge trying to fish out of pontoon with oars and no fins. I managed to catch a 20 inch trout over by in flows. In afternoon, I had fins and was able to maneuver better. Caught an 18 inch trout down the middle.
